tsu-pi-te-ro (tschoo-pee-teh'-roh). n. one who invests by 'tsupita', or, in other words, by short-term trading. "Technical Analysis by the Filipino Trader".
On April 14, 2002, Tsupitero.com was born. It started off as just a hobby. I was so interested in doing Technical Analysis that I decided to create a website and write all my ideas there. During those days, there were hardly any websites or blogs that wrote about the Philippine Stock Market. Tsupitero.com was one of the first websites that talked about Technical Analysis in the PSE.
Sometime in mid-2006, we closed down our family business. Since I didn't have anything better to do then, I decided to go full-time on what I love to do best - to trade and to write about the markets. On June 19, 2006, I wrote the very first Tsupitero Newsletter. The newsletter is now one of the longest running newsletter that talks about the Philippine Stock Market.
With the changing of the times and with social media now booming worldwide, I decided to transfer all activities of Tsupitero.com to Facebook and Twitter. On Jan 21, 2013, I created the Tsupitero group in Facebook. My daily blog about the Philippine Stock Market can now be read in that group.
Modesty aside, I would like Tsupitero.com to be known as one of the pioneers of spreading the word of Technical Analysis in the Philippine Stock Market. It has contributed to the way of thinking of most traders in the PSE nowadays.
